Doctors Job In Singapore, Psychiatrists, Pharmacists, Counsellors

I would like to inform you that a Job Placement Agency has received many requests from a number of hospitals in Singapore to head hunt for doctors to fill the many vacancies ranging from Medical Officers to Specialists. Psychiatrists are the most urgently needed doctors in Singapore, especially in the subspecialties of Forensic Psychiatry and Gambling Addiction Psychiatry.

If you or if you know of anyone who would like a doctors job in Singapore please send a cover letter and resume (also called CV) to me. I will then send them to the Job Placement Agency for further processing.

If a hospital wants to interview the doctor, then the doctor only has to pay S$200 to the job placement agency as an administration fee. There are no other agency fees to be paid.

The applicants must be holders of at least a relevant Bachelor degree awarded by Universities recognized by the Singapore Medical Council. Please refer to the: List of Registrable Basic Medical Qualifications and the List of Registrable Postgraduate Medical Qualifications.

Also in view of the two Integrated Resorts opening in Singapore in the coming few months, Singapore needs to employ more Counsellors to counsel problem gamblers in Singapore.

I have just received a request for applications for Cardiologist, Psychiatrists, Radiologist, Radiographer, Sonographer, Ultra Sonographer, Generic Medicine, and Other Specialist Doctors Job In Singapore.

Foreign Doctors who meet the following requirements will be granted conditional registration by Singapore Medical Council and able to work under the supervision of a fully registered Medical Practitioner.

• Age 25 - 50; and
• Holders of at least a relevant Bachelor degree awarded by university recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (Please refer to the List of Registrable Basic Medical Qualifications and the List of Registrable Postgraduate Medical Qualifications which are recognised by the Medical Council currently) ; and
• Proficiency in English language – Written & Spoken is required; and
• IELTS score of at least 6.01; and
• Qualified and Registered as a Medical Doctor with the relevant Medical Council in your home country; and
• 3 years of relevant work experiences in well established hospitals in your home country; and
• Hold a certificate of experience as proof of satisfactory completion of housemanship; and
• Is currently in active clinical practice.

All applicants will be accepted upon passing admission interview conducted by Harriet Career Consultancy.

For Applicant who does not meet the entry requirements may apply. The management will assess applicant on a case by case basis subject to final approval by Harriet Career Consultancy.

Note: Applicant who does not meet the English Proficiency level will be required to enrol in an English Language Course of 3 months in duration (additional course fees of S$1,800). English course fees S$ 1,800 paid will not be refunded under All circumstances.

    Microbiologist Needed For Job In Singapore

    That’s right, we shall not restrict ourselves to doctor’s job in Singapore just to work in a hospital.

    A Human Resource (HR) Director in Singapore for a big organisation is looking for a Microbiologist.

    Would you or somebody you know be suitable for the post of Microbiologist in Singapore?

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Establish and monitor the basic minimum standards required for microbiological and biochemical testing of sterile medical devices.

    - Independently manages laboratory team in qualification of testing in harmonisation within BD.
    • Qualification protocols for all tests associated with manufacturing of sterile medical devices, including but not limited to product and packaging bioburden tests, sterility assurance tests, sterilant residual tests, and cleanroom environmental monitoring tests.
    • Ensure that any outside consultants are properly selected and managed.

    - Co-ordinates with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments in the timely release of devices and components for distribution

    - Co-ordinates with Manufacturing in the development and validation of test method and sterilisation process to support site projects.

    - Approve and implement methods of plant microbiological and hygiene control

    - Ensure all products requiring sterilization are tested appropriately and verified for sterility following defined procedures

    - Develop all microbiological test procedures, laboratory and sterilization validation programmes

    - Conduct microbiological laboratory, critical component and contract sterilizer audits, and ensure documented sterilization procedure are provided

    - Responsible for release of sterilized products

    - Development of documented cleaning schedules and methods for relevant areas and equipment

    - Development of documented procedure for isolation and basic identification of pre-sterilization microbiological contamination

    - Has the authority to sign for Microbiologist.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in Science/ Engineering (with Microbiology or related health science course) with minimum 3 years working experience in the microbiological and sterilization area or Diploma in Engineering (with Microbiology courses) with at least 5 years in the QA function.
    • Must be familiar with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
    • Knowledge of ISO11135 and ISO11137 is preferred.
    • Having experience working with ETO & Gamma is preferred.

    Working Hours: 7.45am to 4.45pm (Mon- Fri)
    Monthly Salary : Below S$3,600

    The Ministry Of Health To Recruit 4,500 For Health Sector

    The Ministry of Health wants to hire 4,500 positions over the next two years and another 1,700 after that.  Full Report Here.

    The Ministry of Health wants to hire 4,700 doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals like physiotherapists. This means an increase of 40%.

    The balance of 1,500 to be recruited would be support staff like administrative staff.

    The Ministry of Health and the Workforce Development Agency will subsidise training for 250 people who are mid-career switchers to become nurses or allied health professionals.

    The question is where does Singapore turn to for the big additonal number of doctors that it needs?

    You’re right, it’s got to turn to the foreign-trained doctors to work in Singapore.
